1. What this is
The service offers readings based on Korean saju, a Four Pillars tradition shared across East Asia. Horan, the host, is a fictional character.
Readings are for entertainment and self-reflection only. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice, and they do not predict events. Please don’t base decisions about your health, money, legal matters, relationships or safety on them. If you need help, talk to a qualified professional.
2. How readings are made (AI disclosure)
Your chart (pillars, elements, the 2027 month-by-month calendar facts and similar) is calculated in code from the birth details you enter, using the method published on the site.
The chapter text is generated by AI (Claude, by Anthropic) in Horan’s voice, following rules we wrote. No person reviews it before you see it. AI-written text can be wrong, inconsistent or unexpected. It describes tendencies, not facts about you.
The pictures of Horan and Kachi come from a fixed art library we made with AI image tools; code picks them for each panel. No image is generated for you.
3. Who can buy
You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to buy a reading. Enter only your own birth details, or someone else’s with their permission.
4. Purchase and delivery
- Product: “The Red-Pen File”, a seven-chapter digital reading that includes “Your 2027, month by month”.
- Price: US$29 (US dollars) or ¥4,400 (Japanese yen, tax included). A second reading of the same chart on another concern, bought from your reading page, is $19 or ¥2,900 (tax included). The amount shown at checkout is final. Where sales tax or VAT applies, it is shown at checkout before you pay.
- It is a one-time payment. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number.
- Writing starts on our servers as soon as your payment clears. The chapters are written one after another, usually all within 15 minutes, whether or not your reading page is open. Each chapter appears on your private reading page as soon as it is written. When writing finishes, we email you the link (if we have your email address).
5. Access to your reading
Your reading lives at a private, hard-to-guess link. Anyone who has the link can read it, so keep it safe and share it only on purpose. If you give us an email address, we also send you the link.
The reading stays available until you delete it, or until 365 days after purchase, whichever comes first (see the Privacy Policy). To keep it longer, print it or save it as a PDF.
6. Refunds
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. At checkout, every buyer asks us to start delivery immediately and acknowledges that there are no returns or cancellations once it begins. If you are in the EU or UK, this also means you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery begins.
7. Ownership and license
The service, the Horan character, the artwork, the site text and, to the extent we hold rights in it, the reading text belong to us or our licensors.
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to read, save, print and quote your own reading for non-commercial purposes. Sharing short quotes and share cards is welcome. Please don’t resell readings, republish them in bulk, or use them to train AI models or build a competing service.
8. Things you agree not to do
- Enter someone else’s birth details without their permission.
- Scrape the service or access or buy through automated means.
- Interfere with the service’s security or operation, or use it for fraud.
- Use the service for anything unlawful.
9. Changes to the service
We may change or discontinue parts of the service. If we stop the service before a reading you paid for has been generated, we refund it in full.
10. Disclaimer
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any particular result, accuracy or fitness for a purpose. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights you have under the law where you live.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on a reading. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the reading the claim relates to.
This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer in the EU, UK, Japan or elsewhere.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard by the state and federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware.
If you are a consumer in the EU, UK, Japan or another country with mandatory consumer protection, you keep that protection and may bring a claim in your local courts.
If something goes wrong, please contact us first. We will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days.
13. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will post the new version here with a new date. Changes do not affect purchases already made.

Addendum: Ask Horan
Ask Horan lets you write one question about your own side of things; an answer is written by AI (Anthropic’s Claude) in the voice of Horan, a fictional character, from your calculated chart. No person reviews an answer before it is shown. Answers are for entertainment and self-reflection, not predictions or medical, psychological, legal, financial or other advice.
- You must be 18 or older (you confirm this at checkout).
- Price: One note (1 question) $5; three notes, all written before checkout, $12 ($4 each). In Japan: ¥800 and ¥1,800, tax included. One-time payment; no prepaid credits, points or balance.
- Before you pay, Kachi (a character) checks the note for free. We do not take questions about health, pregnancy or death; lotteries, gambling or investments; legal, exam, visa or court outcomes; when an event will happen; what another person thinks, feels or does; several questions in one note; or notes from anyone under 18. Nothing is charged, and we suggest a rewrite.
- If a note suggests you may be at risk of harming yourself, nothing is sold and we show crisis resources instead.
- Limits: 3 notes a night (the night resets at 5 a.m. where you are) and 10 a calendar month.
- Answers are written right after payment and appear on your private answer page, usually within 2 minutes; we also email you the link.
- Refunds are automatic when an answer fails, as set out in the Refund Policy. No refunds for change of mind; your statutory rights are not affected.
- Every Red-Pen File includes one note at no extra charge (one per file). It goes through the same check and rules as a paid note, and the answer appears inside your file and on its answer page. If it cannot be answered, write to us and we will make it right, including a refund of the file if you prefer.
Addendum: the characters, the Doorstep Check, cards and the PDF
- Horan (a tiger) and Kachi (a magpie) are fictional characters. Their pictures are a fixed library made with AI image tools. The legend page keeps the invented legend apart from the real folk-painting tradition, the true stories and the facts about us.
- The Doorstep Check on the free chart result is free folklore reading about Korean customs (such as samjae, the “nine” ages and wonjin). It is not a prediction, and nothing is sold with it.
- The share cards (9:16 images) and the PDF keepsake are made automatically from your file and are decorative, for entertainment. They are not charms and claim no effect.

The Pair File
The Pair File: US$19 / from an eligible paid Red-Pen File US$12. One payment, no renewal. Three episodes, a two-chart sheet and a 2027 calendar. No PDF or included question. Promotion codes do not apply.
Both people must be 18+ (or the local age of majority if higher); you need the other person’s permission to use their birth details. Charts are calculated; scenes are fictional, written by AI (Claude). Horan and Kachi are fictional characters. We provide no compatibility score, relationship decision, finding about anyone’s private feelings or prediction of events. Missing birth times and seasonal boundaries can leave pillars unknown and limit interpretation.
Payment is confirmed on Stripe. Writing begins immediately afterwards and the private file is usually available within 15 minutes. We pause new checkouts during an AI outage and resume existing work after recovery. Buyers who provide email receive a completion link. Your internet charges are your own. The common seller, contact and payment information on this page applies.
Gifts
One private Korean saju story: 7 AI-written episodes, a keepsake PDF and one included Ask Horan note. The recipient enters their own birthday.
Unopened gifts are refunded automatically after 180 days. You can cancel an unopened gift earlier. After opening, the usual 7-day refund policy starts from the recipient’s checkout. Refunds go to the buyer.
A gift costs US$29 for English or ¥4,400 (tax included) for Japanese, once with no renewal. Recipients must also be adults 18+ and accept the reading terms and AI disclosure. Reading delivery begins at the recipient’s $0 checkout and is usually ready within 15 minutes. If the reading remains unfinished after 7 days, the refund offer remains available.
